I live in Utah. Where could I go to purchase a good Japanese Wok? I love Asian cooking. Or where could I purchase one online?
Amazon.com
Don’t get stainless because it cannot be seasoned and you will never get the nonstick surface you need (seasoned nonstick not teflon nonstick)
Don’t get nonstick (like teflon) because you will ruin the surface quickly and also because teflon does not stand up well to very high heat (necessary for wok cooking)
I like the ones with the short handle on one side and the long one on the other. It works well for tossing and allows a two handed carry.
Get a thick heavy one so that the heat is distributed better
Get one with a flat bottom (small flat bottom) so that it can sit on the burner without one of those dreadful heat rings.
The one below is a good wok. I like a wooden handle on one side but the wok is good quality

The Gosselins like to buy things in bulk, so it makes sense that when they want to buy beef, they go buy half a cow!
